The event on Friday 6th October was well received with great speakers and an interesting range of topics from dementia; PICU; psychotherapy; the commissioning landscape, all the way to end of life care in psychiatry; advances in neuropsychiatry and even a philosophical discussion on the ethics of genetic and stem cell therapy for neurological conditions!

Thank you to all the speakers for making this an informative and engaging event.

We look forward to the next Nouvita conference in March 2018!

This one-day conference will focus on overcoming the challenges a mental health recovery service faces, and the healing journeys our service users take.

This conference will enable you to:

  • Understand and reflect on current challenges in PICU and recovery services in mental health, and look at ways of overcoming these challenges
  • Learn from established practice in the delivery of excellence in Neuropsychiatry
  • Improve the relationships and ways of working between service users, families/carers, mental health professionals and commissioners
  • Network with colleagues who are working to improve the quality of recovery orientated practices for service users
  • Update your knowledge on national and local developments
  • Examine your role in improving recovery services
